Happy Sunday Friends

I hope you have had a wonderful day, I know I have.
I planed on vegging out on the sofa and watching some trash tv because I thought the weather was supposed be very cold and wet....

Will the weather man was WRONG ...

It was almost 80 and the sun was out most of the day.

I had my mind made up on what I was spending my day on and just couldn't get my self motivated to do anything else.

I forgot to share some pictures of a paper craft I completed yesterday so here ya go.

Light Up The Night & A Mermaid Shoe Box

Hi Blog land Friends

I'm taking a breather from my Saturday mussy around and dropping in on blog land to give you....

my friends... a update on whats up in my studio. The sun is still out but and its still warm enough to miss around out side, that being side I'm stuck in the house with piles of laundry and other chores that haven't gotten done because of my "painting high...lol

 I transplanted some of the plants that where suffering and gave them a nicer home to live in.

 This is what I'm calling a mermaid shoe box....because I have no intention of using it for shoe polish.

 The inside is a mess...but that's how i work....

I'll put a frish coat of paint in side another time

 This was my tv time
I sat and watch my new favorite show " The Talk" and worked on this burlap lamp shade

 Kinda cute.....oooo I don't know .... it looks silly ..... its going to the sale in April ....someone will like it

Top Shelf Project

Hi Friends,
I was feeling really tired today so I have to put this project back on the shelf and save it for another day. I think there is some kind of allergies going on in my head because all i want to do is sleep. It's sad because the sun is out and its warm enough for painting. I just cant get going today. Any waysssss here are some pictures of whats next.

 I found this peace at a garage sale last summer. Its a nice solid bed side table by Ethan Allen.

Part 2 Of The Endless Project

Good evening
I'm setting on the sofa trying to wrap my head around just how far away  I really am from being finished with anything. Its been one of those days where you cant finish anything because of the lack of supplies and energy.  You know what I'm talking about? I've got so many things in progress that I am starting to feel defeated.
I also think I might be getting sick...tired and cold....I dont have time to be sick.... sorry I didnt mean to got off on a negative path there. I do have a few pictures of conpleted painting projects...will I think they are finished... I might add alittle more stain and sanding tomorrow.

I'm Finaly Finished!!

I finished a few project today and let me just say WOW it feels good!!
I've been a busy little bee the last week and half and it's paying off
These twin folding chairs are so cute, I just love them. I'm actually thinking about keeping them.

 I love to start and be able to finish in one day.
That's what I did with the dinning room chairs today

 They have been recovered once before, when the kids where younger
Can you see why? lol

Ooo Sunny Day

Ahoy Mate
The sun is out today and its time to get the paint out.
I didn't think I'd ever see the sun again, will it's Sunday isn't it. hehe
I got the first coats of paint on just in time because it looks like the sun wont last to long.
I love the feeling of getting long awaited projects completed
You know that feel of ...AWWW now that's nice... : )

 

I'm using a beachy blue for most of the small peaces

and what ever left over paint I have for the bigger ones

 Yada looks at me with that look of   
" Are you going up or down...just asking?"

Beach House Blue isn't painted on the little table, after posting it I noticed that it looked like it was painted on the table.  I have plans to paint a mermaid on the top.

 I think this three legged stool is so cutie!! I wouldnt stand on it for fear of falling over but I would set a plant on it. tahehe
