You Light Up My Life

I'm back just like I promised

Its to cold out side today for painting so I'm

working in the house today

I did go down to the studio to take a few pictures for you

The chair and blue paper stand or side table what ever you want

 it to be are new to the studio

There is my sweet little feather pillow I made the other day

Here is another small table that I shabbied yesterday

The butterfly stool and lamp are  new

The vanity is  the only large new piece

I don't think I can get any thing else in here with out selling something

I like to have quite a few small piece of furniture on hand because POC has alot of winter vacationers or more commonly called  'Snow Birds'

They come in there travel tailors and motor homes for the winter and leave again in the spring.

Just because they are living in small spaces doesn't mean thay cant shop.

 As for what I was working on this morning

Everthing Is Comming Up Flowers

Hi Friends

I hope you had a great weekend, it was pretty busy around the shop this weekend. I sold 2 dressers and alot of small furniture pieces. I feel like I need to go shopping to restock but I know all I have to do is go next door to my storage place and get to work on some great furniture that has been waiting its turn. I worked inside the house today. Remember these cute flowers from the the last post?

Well I finely decided where to use them.

I thought these little bags would be sweet Valentine gifts for the little Valentine

This one would be a sweet Easter Baskit

All the small bags are for sale in The Vintage Pearl for only 15.00

I finished this lamp today...I call it my leaning tower of flowers

The lamp has a slight leaning one side and I couldn't figure out how to straighten it.

 The lamp and lampshade are 20.00

Blue Wednesday

Hi Blogger friends

I've been a busy bee today

I have started round 2 of the HCG diet and I really need to keep my hands busy

I started early this morning because of the heat

Its been over 100 degrees in POC for a few days now so I have been planning my day around the heat wave

Here are few pictures of the inside of The Vintage Pearl

 I just love these old model cars...they are the perfect blue for coastal decorating. Their setting on a three legged stole I painted last winter.

 I love this new color, it reminds me of Tiffany blue

 This sweet old chair is Pretty In Pink....I still have to distress it a bit

 I now have  heavenly handmade soaps made by Kim from Vintage Me Hemmed In Prayer http://vintagemehemmedinprayer.blogspot.com/

I have been trying to keep all of the flowers watered

and cared for in all this heat

I hope I can save them for burning up in the drought
