Ooo Sunny Day

Ahoy Mate
The sun is out today and its time to get the paint out.
I didn't think I'd ever see the sun again, will it's Sunday isn't it. hehe
I got the first coats of paint on just in time because it looks like the sun wont last to long.
I love the feeling of getting long awaited projects completed
You know that feel of ...AWWW now that's nice... : )

 

I'm using a beachy blue for most of the small peaces

and what ever left over paint I have for the bigger ones

 Yada looks at me with that look of   
" Are you going up or down...just asking?"

Beach House Blue isn't painted on the little table, after posting it I noticed that it looked like it was painted on the table.  I have plans to paint a mermaid on the top.

What do you think?

I think it turned out pretty good

 I think this three legged stool is so cutie!! I wouldnt stand on it for fear of falling over but I would set a plant on it. tahehe

Update of Painting Project

Here is the update I promised you yesterday

I got my haircut but it still needs color so

I'm not ready to show it off.

May be tomorrow I will feel like painting my hair...

I mean color my hair....lol

Will anyway I did get some painting done

I got the primer on some of the small peaces

I have to finish painting tomorrow before noon because

the weather man said its going to get cold  and wet in the afternoon 

There first two pictures are of  a sewing project I started today
I'll surpise you tomorrow with more pictures of the finshed project

 I have my work cut out for me tomorrow

A Day Of Sanding

Happy Tuesday Friends

I spent some time on my project list today and actualy got alot done. I priced a few more items for the April sale and sanded all the small items on my huge pile.

I already have a long list of things to mark off of tomorrows to-do list. I hope to put a coat of primer on all the pieces that I sanded today and do a little organizing in the art studio.

A Fresh Start

Let me just say that I’m a little over whelmed. This is the time of year that I like to start fresh. You know the feeling…after you take the Christmas decorations down something inside you just wants to paint the walls or buy new furniture. Well I can’t afford to do any of that so I guess I’ll clean out the garage.

I know…

You’re saying … What the H_ _!!   

What does cleaning out the garage have to do with starting fresh and making pretty?

Hold on a minute…some of you may know already that I like to re-purpose old furniture… so that means my garage is full of furniture waiting for me to pretty it up.

I was waiting for my studio to get finished before tearing into the mess in our garage but the DH has been so busy lately he hasn’t had time to work on it. I figure I have two choices, I can go crazy waiting for him to finish or I can help out by making room in there for him to actually have room to work on the studio.

Today was the first day of a very long project. Here are some pictures of my start to a fresh start.
